Marie-Laure Vercambre has been Director of Green Cross International’s Water for Life and Peace programme since 2010.
A French national, Marie-Laure graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at New York University and a Masters dual Degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and L’Institut d’Études Politiques (IEP) de Paris.
Before starting with Green Cross International, Marie-Laure worked with the organization in France as Director of Communications and Advocacy.
She started her professional life in New York City, working in communications, before joining the French Mission to the UN, where she spent a year assisting its Human Rights experts in New York and Geneva.
Marie-Laure has also worked as a consultant between 2008 and 2010.
Fluent in French and English and proficient in Spanish, Marie-Laure is immensely satisfied to coordinate the Green Cross International Water for Life and Peace Programme, which comprises advocacy and concrete on-the-ground projects.
