Adam Koniuszewski

Chief Operating Officer of Green Cross International

As Chief Operating Officer of Green Cross International, Adam oversees the activities and development of the organization’s international programmes and its global network as well as the daily operations of the Geneva headquarters.  Adam is also the Project Leader of the Climate Change Task Force and the Board Member and Treasurer of Green Cross France & Territories, chaired by Jean-Michel Cousteau.

A Canadian Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Analyst, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a graduate diploma from Concordia University in Montreal. Before joining the civil society sector, Adam acquired extensive international business experience including senior roles with global corporations and consultancies in strategy, corporate finance, business development, regulatory and business risk management, governance, communication and corporate social responsibility.

Adam advises nongovernmental organizations and businesses on sustainability and is a regular speaker at international conferences and a contributor to media on sustainability and related topics.
